OUR HISTORY:  Harry Bassford, a former CPA, opened Eastern Financial in 1985 with only two employees.  This started off as a small office located on Tilton Rd. in Egg Harbor Township.  In 1991, Harry Bassford and Jerry Kanefsky, who was a real estate broker at the time, decided to become partners in residential mortgage financing, and expanded their business to 20 employees.  Together, they origniated $400 million in mortgage financing. Harry Bassford and Jerry Kanefsky have recently opened the real estate office, with Jerry  Kanefsky as the broker.
